Fatboy Slim - Praise You
Sorry sorry sorry for no updates in the last days. I have no idea about my blog mate, but I was too busy partying at the weekend (yeah, I know, hard life). Big Beach Bootique 5 in Brighton was just amazing. Plenty of ravers to share beautiful moments with, and music delight coming from Fatboy Slim’s hands. You can enjoy the last half hour of his Saturday set here. As I promised, another tune from him. This is a well known one, but very special. BRAP.

Fatboy Slim - North West Three
If there is an electronic music artist who is untouchable for me, that’s Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim. Basically I discovered electronic music with him years and years ago, after a random listen of this masterpiece. This guy is been in the business for 30 years. So taking the incoming 5th edition of his crazy Big Beach Bootique party in Brighton, I wanted to share some of his gems along next days. My first choice is extracted from his album ‘Palookaville’ (2004), according to the magnificent style of this blog. Enjoy it.

Feist - The Water (Ambassadeurs Reconstruction)
Ambassadeurs - man, why are you so freaking good? I think my favourite part of this ‘reconstruction’, is the beautifully flowing, jazz brush percussion. Reconstruction is the right word - this song has been cut up, and put back together, and the result is as beautiful as the original. Mad love for this track.

Polkadot - Eternity
HOLY SHIT THIS TUNE IS MASSIVE. Wait for the build at the start to give way to a pulsing, driving rhythm that’ll have you screaming ‘banger’. When the beat drops, it’s almost incomparably heavy. What a track. Big.

Morning High - Melancholia
This song goes all swoop swoop, swoop swoop. Yeah, it’s as awesome as you’ve come to expect (look at me, talking like I’ve been all about Morning High forever now). If I could have it on my iPod, it would be on a loop already. I really just can’t get enough of this music. Sublime.

Jacques Greene - Another Girl
I said there would be more, didn’t I? I don’t care how old this tune is - it’s baaaaad.
Black Milk - Welcome (Gotta Go)
This beat is so RZAlicious it’s ridiculous. Check out more of his stuff here
